SUBSTANTIAL UP-SURGE IN THE SALE OF HOME GOODS

Commenting on the up-surge in the sale of home goods during the pandemic, Chairman of the Hirsch’s Group, Allan Hirsch says that compared to last year at the same time, Hirsch’s have experienced an average growth of over 30% over the last  4 months.  Says Allan “With people generally spending more time at home, there has been emphasis on renewing, replacing and refurbishing  homes – and doing a lot more entertaining in the home.  The other reason is that the property market is quite buoyant right now and people are either up or down scaling.  We’ve been in a very fortunate position after a very hesitant start at the beginning of lockdown. Things have definitely picked up.”
